More than a little carried away.

So remember that Anne won't be wearing make-up til she is older... make that way way way older.  She got into my make-up while I was being a good house wife and doing dishes.  I thought things were a little to quiet so I took a peek around the corner to see what was up.  This is what I found
 In her hair
 Up her nose
She is so proud of herself
Of coarse I grabbed the camera first so I could show Andrew that our little Angel Anne is turning into a little cretin full of mischief.  Then I cleaned her up the best I could.   She still has some eye liner up her nose that I just haven't been able to get.  I was a little worried she broke a piece off while gleefully shoving the pencil up her nose.  So I suctioned her just to be sure.  What a goob.  She is getting too smart for her own good.  I need to start child proofing and hiding pens and keeping a better eye on this little cretin angel.

Also, this is Andrew's favorite facial expression Anne has learned.  Its kind of a surprised excited face accompanied by an exuberant "oh".  She does this quite often.

A little carried away?

So.... Anne has this routine where she likes to join me in the hallway when I do my hair and make-up.  She gets into my make-up basket and takes each object out inspects it shakes it a few times and tosses it over her shoulder.  It never gets old for her.  She loves it.
Well,  today we were extra bored... and Anne has been sick and funless the last few days... and she loves to play with whatever make-up utensil/blush/eyeliner I have just used.  So we had some fun.

I know I know it looks more like I tortured her.... but we had fun I promise.

Maybe purple eyeshadow just isn't for her?  Or Apple flavored red lip gloss... or blush.  I stopped there.  No need to create a child beauty pageant monster just yet.  Someday though, someday she will be a star.

P.S. I hope you don't think I'm serious.  She won't be seeing any make-up again until she is at least in her teens... late teens... and beauty pageants... I don't think the other little girls would have a chance so we should just be gracious and let them win while we enjoy our innocence a few more years.
