Noise Before The Dawn.

We woke up bright and early this morning to the sound of construction.  They are tearing up the road just outside our townhouse.  It was noisy!  However, my kids were ecstatic!!!  No joke it was the quickest get the kids bottled changed dressed and down stairs morning we have ever had!  Usually there is some cuddling and dragging of feet and playing upstairs before we can talk them into coming down.  Anne especially hates coming down the stairs to early.  She will just sit there and fuss for a while.  Anyway, we all went out in the backyard and watched the excavator tear up road and load it into the dump truck.  There was also a scraper and backhoe working too.  The kids loved it and knew the names to all the vehicles.  Anne has been obsessed with construction vehicles for a while, but now Dallas has caught on.  We have a book about trucks and one we just checked out from the library... they are always being carried around the house by Dallas who loves to read them.
So we were out there for about an hour just watching.  Bliss!
